The highlights of last week were the launches of three models, launch updates of a couple of SUVs as well as a sedan, and design leaks of an upcoming hatchback<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hyundai Alcazar Launched<\/strong>: Hyundai India\u2019s SUV range now has a three-row SUV in the form of the Alcazar. While it is based on the Creta, the Alcazar comes in both 6- and 7-seater layouts and gets additional features as well. It is available in three broad trims and gets both petrol and diesel engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Velar Launched<\/strong>: While the Range Rover Velar wasn\u2019t anywhere short on its feature list, Land Rover has given it a minor update that includes new features such as a 360-degree camera, an updated infotainment system as well as a PM2.5 air filter, and the return of the diesel engine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Launched<\/strong>: Mercedes-Benz\u2019s flagship sedan has now been\u00a0launched in its seventh-gen avatar<\/u><\/a>. Claimed to be the \u2018best car in the world\u2019, the new S-Class is much smoother, bigger, and sleeker than its predecessor and is loaded with a bucketload of creature comforts and safety features. The carmaker has introduced it in a special Launch Edition version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skoda Kushaq Launch Confirmed<\/strong>: The compact SUV segment will have a new contender soon in the form of the Skoda Kushaq. It will be a petrol-only model and will be offered in three variants. You can find the variant-wise engine and gearbox combos here<\/u><\/a>. The Kushaq is a highly localised product (up to 95 percent) which should help in aggressive pricing, which will be out on this date<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 BMW 5 Series Launch Confirmed<\/strong>: After making its global debut in May 2020, BMW\u2019s facelifted 5 Series is finally heading to India<\/u><\/a>. While it is expected to soldier on with the same engine and gearbox options, the sedan gets some cosmetic changes inside out along with new features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facelifted Mahindra TUV300 Launch Period Confirmed<\/strong>: Back in April 2020, Mahindra discontinued the TUV300 due to the introduction of the BS6 norms. While the BS6-updated model (also a facelift) has been spied a few times, it now has a launch period<\/u><\/a> and will sport a new nameplate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Infotainment System Of Upcoming Mahindra SUVs<\/strong>: Mahindra has announced its plans to launch nine SUVs by 2026. While we are yet to see them in flesh, a few spy shots of the new-gen Scorpio and XUV700 reveal key exterior and interior bits including new touchscreen systems.
